Brian Zimmerman

Brian Zimmerman is a longtime band teacher and jazz guitarist from Winnipeg. He taught band at Maples Collegiate for many years and also served as a sessional instructor in jazz guitar at Brandon University. In addition to his work as an educator, he has performed with a variety of jazz groups in Winnipeg. Having recently concluded his full-time teaching career, he continues to remain active in music through clinics, workshops, and performing. He is excited to be conducting the Senior Honour Jazz Band this year.
