First and foremost, please ensure you REGISTER (click here)! After you register, you will receive a personal drop folder into which you will place your video audition. This can take some time, so please be patient. If you haven't received a link to a drop folder with 48 hours of registering, please email me at gcrowe@sunrisesd.ca.

All horn players must play the chromatic scale and the two etudes provided.

 

All bass players must play the two etudes provided.

 

Piano and guitar players must play the three etudes provided.

 

All horn, piano, bass and guitar players must perform a minimum of 2 choruses of improvisation on the blues progression (any key - play along link below).
 

Drummers must play:
Play 32 bars of swing, latin & ballad styles
Play a 32 bar solo in any style of your choice

Registration (do this first) and audition submission deadline: Friday, May 15, 2026

Results Announced: Wednesday, May 20, 2026

Auditions must be in video format. If you experience a problem, applicants are to email Greg Crowe at gcrowe@sunrisesd.ca
